Flax Seed Smoothie
A basic smoothie that incorporates omega 3-rich flax seed. A good source of fiber and a quick and low-calorie grab in the morning.
- ½ frozen banana, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 2 tablespoons ground flax seed
- 1 cup low-fat vanilla soy milk (or any kind of milk)
- Place the banana, strawberries, ground flax seed, and milk into a blender. Puree until smooth.
