Chocolate Buttons

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces good quality bittersweet chocolate
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1 Tbsp flaky sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Melt bittersweet chocolate in a microwave or over a double-boiler.
  2. Drop tablespoon-size spoonfuls of chocolate, at least 2 inches apart on a parchment-lined tray.
  3. Bang the tray on the counter once or twice to spread the chocolate into thin pools about 2 inches wide.
  4. While chocolate is still liquid, sprinkle with chopped pistachios, chopped apricots, and flaky sea salt. Or switch up the toppings with your own favorite combo!
  5. Let set then store in airtight container.

Alternate Combinations:

  • pepitas, chopped apricots, and flaky sea salt
  • crushed coffee beans, cacao nibs, and coconut flakes
  • chopped pistachios, freeze-dried raspberries, and bee pollen
  • edible rose petals, candied ginger, and orange peel
  • goji berries, crisped rice, and chia seeds
  • crushed potato chips, toffee chips, and dried cranberries
